Wizkids - India
National Children's Science congress [NCSC] is held every December. About 800- 1000 smart prodigies are chosen from states all over the nation to present their ideas and projects in the areas of Science & Technologies, Research, Mathematics and other faculties to eminent scientists of India. Along with NCSC, a science meet for children is organised. Thousands of students & teachers from all over participate in this event.

Highlights of the Congress
The Event exposes students to the fascinating world of science through face to face interaction with eminent scientists, demonstration lectures by eminent experts from various fields and opportunities for children to create science toys, watch fascinating experiments, science films and participate in delightful activities like aeromodelling, origami and sky watching.

Highlights of the Expo
The Events showcases the work [Projects and papers] of the student delegates to the Society, Industry & Scientists through Wizkids Pavilion, provides a focused platform for various Youth Brands to interact with student delegates and visitors and a focused platform to various institutions/ NGOs to showcase their work and interact with student delegates and visiting students. The Event was Inaugurated by Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam in presence of Hon'ble Shri Sharad Pawar and Prof. Yash Pal.

A Special Note
Out of 800 student delegates, the work of 60 students was chosen for showcasing in the Indian Science Congress, the apex event of the entire scientific fraternity. For the first time few projects were selected under 'Innovation Foundation of India', an initiative of CSIR for further research and development.
