Highlights of the Event
India International Coffee Festival 2007 brought together the entire Indian Coffee Industry on one platform, to showcase Coffees of India to international buyers, to beckon the international coffee businesses to explore the large Indian market and to build awareness about coffee among the general public. Organised under the aegis of the Coffee Board of India in active collaborations with the Coffee Industry majors in India , IICF took shape to successfully represent the Indian Coffee Industry and market to the World.
The event included International Conference, IICF World Expo, Mysore Heritage Coffee Safari and Skill Building Workshops. ‘Coffee Gyan', a Coffee Table Book was also released during IICF 2007. |

Highlights of the Conference
The Conference topics focused on technology, business, coffee quality, trends and future prospects of the coffee industry. The combination of speakers represented Industry, Academia and Coffee growers from both India and abroad. The conference witnessed star speakers like Dr. Ernesto Illy, Dr. Nestor Osorio, Dr. Mario Cerutti, Dr. P.C. Kesavan and Prof. Jaakko Tuomilehto. |

Highlights of the Expo
The expo witnessed the participation of the major players in the Indian Coffee Industry along with the new set ups and start-up organizations. A
representation of International Coffee Industry excited to explore the burgeoning Indian Coffee market were also a part of the Exhibition. |

Workshops
Workshops concentrated on various aspects of coffee preparation, right from picking the right coffee beans to right techniques to roast and brew coffee, preparing cappuccino and Indian Style Filter Coffee etc. 'Cooking with Coffee' workshop was introduced opening a new aspect of uses of coffee.

Conclusion
The event indeed has emerged as a platform for all sections of the coffee industry to meet, promote coffee, and forge tie-ups & associations. The event also attracted the enthusiastic participation of the sheer coffee lovers from the general public. |
