India United States Conference and Exhibition on
Space Science, Applications & Commerce

Role of MM Activ
MM Activ was responsible for end to end planning and successful conduct of the entire conference in co-ordination with AIAA and ASI. MMActiv was also responsible for end to end planning, marketing and execution of the exhibition and B 2 B forum in coordination with AIAA and ASI.


Objectives
The joint declaration between the Prime Minister of India and the President of United States, at the end of 2001 stated "the two sides should discuss ways to stimulate bilateral high technology commerce and that the United States and India have a mutual interest in space and have agreed to initiate discussions on civil space cooperation. As a follow-up to this intent at the highest level of the two Governments, the India-United States Conference on Space Science, Applications and commerce- Strengthening and Expanding Cooperation was held in Bangalore, India during 21-25 June 2004.


Highlights of the Conference

Highlights of the Expo
The India-United States Space Expo was inaugurated by Mr. Kenneth I. Juster Under Secretary of Commerce USA and Mr. G. Madhavan Nair Chairman ISRO/ Secretary DOS Govt. of India.
The trade show was a great success with significant participation from both the countries to showcase Satellite Communications, Earth Observations, SDI Technologies, Satellite Navigation, Manufacturing of Satellites, Aerospace industry, Disaster Management, Telemedicine, Tele education, etc. The NASA booth dedicated to Ms. Kalpana Chawla of Columbia Mission was appreciated by one and all. The tradeshow attracted over 40 organisations and witnessed the noteworthy participation of agencies like NASA, Boeing, Raytheon, ISRO, ASI etc.
